As a Senior Research Manager at the NHS Race and Health Observatory, you will lead high-impact research, ensuring our work informs policy and practice across the UK’s healthcare system.

About the role

As a Senior Research Manager you will: 

  • Oversee research projects to generate practical, actionable evidence.
  • Support the development of resources on health inequalities.
  • Identify funding opportunities and ensure research is policy relevant.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders.

About you

You will have a deep appreciation and understanding of ethnic/racial health inequalities and the role of structural and institutional racism in informing those inequalities as well as:

  • Demonstrable experience in research management (public health, healthcare, or policy).
  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate research into real-world impact.
